Mike Rhodes is the head basketball coach at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He has been with the program since 2017, taking over for Will Wade who left to become the head coach at LSU. Rhodes has had success at VCU, leading the Rams to the NCAA Tournament in his first season. Prior to coming to VCU, Rhodes was the head coach at Rice University and assistant coach at various other schools, including VCU, where he was an assistant under Shaka Smart during the Rams' Final Four run in 2011.
